I really have no idea where to start a first blog entry…so I might as well start where everything else begins: hello. Looks like the formalities are over. Now I can get down to business.
On the surface, or by getting to know me a bit, you’ll learn that my name is Steph and I’m a college freshman from Southern California. I’m a person who adores writing, I’m snarkie and sarcastic, meaning that I have a sharp tongue on quite a few occasions. What else am I? I’m a die-hard sports fan. Please don’t come away from this site with the misconception that I am your stereotypical girl who shows up to sporting events to watch the hot guys (though that is a plus) and screams, “MARRY ME!!!!” to any passing players with a fat paycheck. Honestly, I’m not. I know my sports back and forth and follow many teams.
I started this blog to fulfill a few things: my need to write, talk sports AND actually have an intelligent conversation, and just to write the random musings of a teenage chick…anything that really probes my mind for a bit, whether it comes from a friend, family, school, or just about life in general. I’ll primarily be talking about sports here, so you’ll here a lot about the teams I root for. You’ll probably find the most of my writing is consumed with the Yankees. Yes, I’m a Yankees fan. No, I’m not a band-wagoner. I was born to a father who loves the Yankees and passed the pinstriped gene onto me.
I’ll try to keep this blog posted with the most recent baseball news and trade monger and, of course, updates on the Yankees. Please feel free to leave feedback and to give me tips. I’ve never written a blog before, much less done any sort of formatting or website-related activity, and am therefore quite new to the scene and will be forced to figure it out as I go…so this is it: the beginning.
See? You do fine in computers. You should definately switch majors and do programming. xD Though… considering that you made this blog, I guess this really won’t be much of a blog but rather a Yankee’s info site or something. Anyways, nice job and cheers!
