Terrible news for the US WNT yesterday. During their match against Brazil, their final tune-up for the Olympics, Abby Wambach suffered a broken leg in the 32nd minute and will miss the Olympics. Lauren Cheney will likely be her replacement, as she is the back-up forward.
This will make getting the gold a lot more difficult [...]

Finally back with some sports updates. It has been a long time, so there’s no way I’m catching you up for that long. Here are some recent notes (only from today, since I’m feeling a bit lazy):
Yankees: Johnny Damon might be headed to the DL for the first time in his career. With the All-Star [...]

Wanted posters are scattering the Bronx, as the search is on for offense. The Yankees will look to stop the bleeding tomorrow by sending Andy Pettitte to the mound. [...]

Yankees: He’s baaaaack. Sir Sidney Ponson (no, really, he is knighted in Aruba) has signed [...]

After the news of their ace going down has had a couple of days to sink in, the Yanks responded with a resounding 8-0 shutout victory over the Padres. Andy was dandy and the Bombers were bombing away. Alright, enough of my little rhyme fun. Catching up:
Yankees: Billy Traber (remember him?) was called up from [...]

I know, I’m terrible about updating lately. Incredibly busy times right now, but I will make it up to you and analyze some stuff…soon. Procrastinators unite…later!
Yankees: Very bad news for the Yankees today…Chien-Ming Wang injured his right foot (being called a “sprained foot” right now) while running the bases today. Joe Girardi does not think [...]
