Due to some unfortunate circumstances that have cropped up in the past two weeks, I have been completely MIA from the blogging scene. I also haven’t really kept up much with what’s going on around sports, though I have been able to glaze through some of the headlines on a daily basis.
No, nobody’s injured, dead, in prison, or in any other sort of very bad state. No, I didn’t break up with a boyfriend. I might touch on the subject later on if I really feel like rambling about life, but I guess I’ll say, for now, that some unfortunate things have occured to someone that I love dearly, and family and friends will always come first. It looks like things are starting to slowly shift back to normal, so I’m back. I think.
Anyway, I’m trying to catch up on everything that I’ve missed, though it looks like I’ve missed a bit too much to be able to process in one day. I promise that I’m going to try to catch up on some posting and I will probably do some sort of analysis to make it up.
I’ve also been helping out on a rather exciting project that I will probably talk about a bit when it is more timely…or just when I can’t really contain the news and am dying to tell you about it. I will say that I’ve had a hand in helping out with research for the project and have done a few other tasks when asked. It’s a neat opportunity for me that I have been enjoying thoroughly, and I’m hoping that when all is said and done, I can tell you about it and hope that you like it as well. I will definitely be promoting it at a later date on this blog.
That would actually be another reason that I haven’t been able to post much, aside from what I mentioned earlier. So…I think I’ve been cryptic enough now. I’ll shut up. For a bit.
Happy 4th of July to all of those who celebrate it. Also, a very happy birthday to Mr. George Steinbrenner, the owner of the New York Yankees. Thank you for all of your investing in my favourite baseball team and all of your work with the Yankees.
